Associates is a full-service mechanical engineering firm, providing
plumbing, fire sprinkler, heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air
conditioning design and construction administration services.
The firm has been involved in the design and construction of major
projects in Central
California.
Originally established in 1971, the firm is the largest mechanical
consulting office in the Central Valley.
The present staff includes 8 licensed mechanical engineers, graduate
mechanical engineers, technical support and administrative/clerical
staff. Nine of the 25 staff members have been with the firm
25 years or more.
The strong educational and practical background of the key personnel,
utilizing computer technology for analysis, modeling, design, drafting,
energy budgeting, and life cycle costing, gives the company the ability
to produce projects that are both practical and efficient. The company
is widely recognized for its innovative, energy-conscious approach to
mechanical systems design, which incorporates both value engineering
and energy conservation.
The firm has been retained by public organizations such as the City and
County of Fresno, P G & E, California State University -
Fresno, State Center Community College District, Pacific Telephone,
fifty school districts, and well over thirty architectural firms to
provide services for projects ranging from small rehabilitations to
over $120 million in construction costs. Projects include
twenty-seven county and state facilities, forty-one hospitals,
seventy-five office buildings, over fifteen hundred schools, and
fifty-four shopping centers. Projects and clients are located
in the San
Joaquin Valley
from Modesto
to Bakersfield.
